English speakers, created to end the malware problem behind "free" cracked
software circulating on sites like pesktop.com, karanpc.com and filecr.com.

**How files are vetted:** every patch, crack, keygen and pre-activated
installer is scanned with multiple professional anti-virus engines. If
malware or suspicious behaviour is found, the original file is discarded and
the team re-patches the software from scratch or extracts a clean permanent
activation key. Each title also ships hands-on reviews and step-by-step
install guides.

**Who runs it:** a small group of volunteer software developers, reverse
engineers, malware analysts and security researchers, working on this
outside their day jobs.
